  2. Install Minecraft Go to minecraft.net Select ‘Get Minecraft’ You will need to pay a onetime license fee. If you already have an account or want to try it out, select ‘Download it here’ www.build-it-yourself.com

  3. Install Minecraft 4. Download and install Windows: Minecraft.msi Mac: Minecraft.dmg www.build-it-yourself.com

  4. Login 5. Enter your account information. Temporarily, you may borrow a Build-It-Yourself account. UID: biy5555@outlook.com PWD: RobotSushi1 Once logged in, you will see this screen. www.build-it-yourself.com

  5. Version Our server requires users to run version 1.7.10 If not, the server will not connect. The next slides shows how to change this setting. www.build-it-yourself.com

  9. Multiplayer Server 7. Select ‘Multiplayer’ 8. Then select ‘Add server’ Here we will enter in the server name and IP address. Build-It-Yourself runs a dedicated server for our members.   10. Multiplayer Server 54.164.139.123:25575 9. Name the server ‘BIY Minecraft Server’ 10. Enter 54.164.139.123:25575 for the server address. 11. Click on ‘Done’ www.build-it-yourself.com

  11. Multiplayer Server If there are green bars near the server, success! If you see a red ‘X’ with a message saying ‘Can’t connect to server’ this means either you are using the wrong version of Minecraft or our server is down. 12. Double click on ‘BIY Minecraft Server’ www.build-it-yourself.com
