What is paint technology Paint is a technology which has lot of functional usages which can be impellent at surfaces for lot specified requirements for example fire proofing ,dissipative Electrostatic paint , sacrificing anodic coating to project the surface from corrosive and etc. This is picture is about epoxy glass flake based under water anti corrosive coating ,where a glass fiber like polyethylene materials( which is not a paint but part of this paint technology) attached to surface by epoxy paint ,so there has no limitation on the paint technology ,which can be develop as per requirement

Solar Paint technology • Solar paint technology already commercially available, which has been developed by an Israelis organization by named www.Apollo-power.com ,they have patented their technology , following there technology cost and efficiency is better than solar panel system ,there technology can implement at any surface ,similar to paint technology can be implements (1) • Photovoltaic P-N junction Solar paint already invented by James Cardaro ,patent number US20020157702A1 and exactly wanted develop similar technology ,in these patent which chemicals name they mention in their patent exactly we use similar chemicals in our paint except photovoltaic semi conductive materials (2)

Other Promising Solar Paint Technology 1 A Thermoelectric recently developed by Korean scientist ,which can generate at room temperature and this technology is based on p-type Bimuth tellurium and n-type Bismuth tellurium which makes p-n junction cell, they also add Antimony telluride with paint to improve thermal properties that means if anyone applies this paint anywhere, he will get electricity like solar paint (3)(4) 2. Solar Paint that can generate Hydrogen fuel at any weather condition This technology developed by Dr. TorbenDaeneke & KouroshKalantarzadeh of RIMT university of Australia This technology is based on mixer of titanium dioxide with a new compound synthetic molybdenum-sulphide which produce hydrogen fuel by absorbing water from air vapor and sunlight at any weather condition Although this technology is cheap but hydrogen fuel storage and collecting technology is expensive . Photovoltaic P-N junction solar paint Planning Research planning can be of Photovoltaic P – N junction solar paint will be based on P-type Copper Zinc tin Sulphide(CZTS) and N-type Aluminum doped Zinc oxide ,these two powder materials initially trying to arrange Also can be try P-type and N-type silicon wafer, by breaking silicon wafer will make powder ,then will make P-type and N-type paint, which could an economical solution ,if it does work There one this important which powder materials will be used as n-type photovoltaic materials that need to be transparent ,so that light can strike p-type photovoltaic layer ,following that trying to arrange N-type photovoltaic powder ,because usually in paint materials could be less transparent than solar panel

Initially how paint will be make Usually for making paint need Binder ( Emulsion or Resin )Solvent ,Additive and Pigment But this solar Paint will be two pack system ,both n-type & p-type Usually we sell paint in one pack ,two pack ,three pack system Initially for solar paint we shall try two pack system Thus there would not require to check storage of paint Part A will be Binder mix with solvent and Part B will Photovoltaic powder. Thus at the time of application also possible to maintain mixing ratio between powder & Binder This will be just mix of binder & powder which easily can be mix ,if will use all the photovoltaic micronized powder Paint will be apply by using normal brush ,to check initial photovoltaic result At the same also work for 1 pack system including require additive

Paint Calculation After getting the p-n junction photovoltaic Result will work for require dry film thickness of paint , which can be achieve measuring wet film thickness of paint at the time of paint application and for doing this calculation also need to know the solid volume of paint , Wet Film thickness gauge which can be find out from the formulation of paint (7)(8) Dry Film thickness gauge

Solar Paint Technology 1st coat will be an insulation clear lacquer/varnish layer To protect surface from electrical conductance which will provide safety from electricity 2nd coat will be bio carbon based conductive paint To increase electrical conductivity ,reflection reduction & passivation 3rd coat will be p-type photovoltaic paint P-type photovoltaic conductive materials will be used here and opacity will be high of this paint DFT (Dry Film thickness of painT) will be high 4th coat will be n-type photovoltaic paint N-type photovoltaic conductive materials will be used here and opacity will be very low of this paint DFT will be very low ,thus sunlight can easily enter into depletion layer of p-n photovoltaic cell and into p-type photovoltaic layer 5th coat will be window coat ( if required ) To increase performance of the p-n photovoltaic function 6TH coat will be clear lacquer protect the paint form environmental impurity (if required) Conductive tape like copper tape could be use for the functional work of electrodes

Experiment done with intrinsic semi conductive pigment This experiment I have also done before several time and get almost similar but I used intrinsic materials ,so when I diffused light ,I didn’t find any changes of volt reading but there is one more interesting thing is after using chlorophyll dyes result found 250 millivolt on average ,I mean I got best result . Though those were not photovoltaic materials based paint and also I haven’t the facilities to check P-type & N-type performance Conclusion This is possible to develop solar paint by forming Photovoltaic P-N junction Application be done by using several method on a subtract which would be implement on any surface ,so best way would be apply like coal coating rolling method and for spray or brush application method would require further research from commercial angle .
