This ten-day festival, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi, commemorates the auspicious birth of the Hindu god Ganesha, who is credited with ushering in new beginnings and removing all evils.Lord Ganesha is regarded as one of Hinduism's most respected gods. Sculptors from all over the world have been seen creating clay sculptures. They are available in a variety of sizes and can be used for a variety of pujas. Over the course of ten days, idols of different sizes can be seen anywhere from private homes to large cities. There are also pandals erected to commemorate this auspicious day. The puja samagri, or the items needed for the puja to take place, are equally significant. There is a procedure for arranging all of the puja products in order to present them to Lord Ganesha as an offering. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated in Maharashtra, Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh, among other places in India. The thread is used to make a cloth offering to the deity. A Kalash is wrapped in the cord. The grass represents regeneration, rebirth, and fertility, all of which Lord Ganesh represents.
