  2. DOE SPR Mission The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) mission is to store petroleum to reduce the adverse economic impact of a major petroleum supply interruption to the United States and carry out obligations under the international energy program.

  3. DOE: SPR Vision The SPR vision is to fill the reserve to capacity with petroleum and to serve as the global benchmark for petroleum reserves.

  4. Has excelled in delivering safe, secure, environmentally responsible and cost effective Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) operational mission readiness. TheDOE/SPR M&O contractor elected to utilize the Computer for Learning Program (CFL) DOE SPR & DynMcDermott M&O Contractor

  5. DOE SPR: M&O Contractor Property and Data Systems • Team up in the support of this program • E-mail • Support of the employees/co-workers, and parents • 23 local area schools responded

  9. DOE OPMO and the M&O Contractor • Worked hand in hand to distribute to the local area schools in a timely manner • On-line registration of schools • Completion of the SF122 forms • No transportation cost to the SPR

  10. Computer for Learning Program • DOE/SPR and the M&O Contractor, donated a total of 371 computer units to 23 local area schools • The CFL program supported the rebuilding/reopening of the local area schools educational programs

Awards • The Orleans Parish School Board provided the SPR an award thanking them for their donations as well as their overall support to the educational programs in the New Orleans area • The Office of the Federal Environmental Executive honored the Strategic Petroleum Reserve for outstanding federal electronics stewardship of donated and recycle excess or surpluselectronics through the Electronics Reuse and Recycling Campaign (ERRC).
