  1. Now is the Best Time To Buy Canadian Dollars

  2. Sad News for our Canadian neighbors with the oil prices dropping down, so did their currency. There is no doubt that affect U.S. companies that operates in Canada. As the oil prices are getting back on track, now is the Best Time To Buy Canadian Dollars for Americans who plan on visiting Canada. The exchange rate 1 US = 1.26 CAD. I personally start shopping for the Canadian dollars since I visit Canada often. Unfortunately, you will not be able to get this exact exchange rate. Exchange companies like Travelex  are probably one of the best places to exchange your currency ( well unless you are in a store at Canada and the owner treat Canadian dollar equal to U.S. Dollar ).

  3. If you want to get your best exchange rate : Western Union : While there is a $5 for exchange fee, Western Union offer you one of the best rates, since their exchange rate in each hundred give you like $3 – $4 more, I would suggest not to use them unless you exchanging an amount of $250 or more.

  4. TD Bank : If you already in Canada, TD Bank offer a decent exchange rate. You don’t have to worry about pre-order, and the they open 24/7.

  5. Credit Card : Not all Credit Card are a good option, You will want to have a credit card that has no foreigner exchange Fees ( Bank Of America is a good example. They have no foreigner transaction fee also, if you have a Bank account with them, they have an okay exchange rate (they don’t offer the best rate). Bank of America is not the only Bank that has no foreign transaction fee ( you will want to check with your bank ). The only reason I am highlighting Bank of America, is they have the option to order online as well if you have an existing account and send it to you ( up to $1000 )
