Lal Lal Bagh Bagh Gardens Gardens First planned and laid out during the rule of Hyder Ali and later adorned with unique plant species by his son Tipu Sultan, it was later managed under numerous British Superintendents before Indian Independence. These botanical gardens were initially set up under the rule of Tipu Sultan. Of all botanical gardens, the Lal Bagh Gardens is considered the most picturesque. There is a lake within Lal Bagh. A flower show is held here every year showcasing numerous varieties of flowers.
