  1. COMPUTER GAMES TO LEARN FROM Learning can be fun and learning can be boring. It all comes down to the approach that the teacher uses in the classroom. At a young age, students are ready to dive into whatever is available. Their little brains are massive sponges ready to soak up all the information that they find entertaining and important. It is up to the teacher to find creative ways to get this information across to their students so that they are able to thrive and find success in the classroom but also in life. There are scientific facts that prove early education truly matters, in most cases it matters more than a secondary education. During those early years your child will be developing skills that they will use for the rest of their life. They might not ever have to use Pythagorean theorem but you can bet your bottom dollar that they will use simple addition and subtraction everyday of their life. One of the best ways to get across to students is through the use of educational computer games. In this article we will look at some of the most popular computer games to learn from.

  2. OREGON TRAIL This game is so old that it feels as if it was created when the actual Oregon Trail was still in use. However, that is not the case as there were no computers just covered wagons. If you want your students to learn about the Oregon Trail in a fun and entertaining manner then this is one of the very best ways to accomplish this goal. I remember learning about the Oregon Trail and at first I was incredibly bored. But then my teacher whipped out this bad boy of a game and I was instantly intrigued. Your students will get to see if they have what it takes to survive this wicked trail while having fun with their friends and learning along the way. A true win-win, no wonder this game has been around for so long. CARMEN SAN DIEGO "Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?" If you are a smart teacher then she is on the computer screens of your students. This video game series is packed with all types of fun activities for your child to work with everything from math to geography. Carmen San Diego is one of those games that has been around for decades. I have friends who are parents now and their children are still playing this game in school. Some things are able to stand the test of time because they are so reliable. This video game series is one of those things and it does not appear to be going anywhere. When your child can learn, have fun and sing along to catchy songs then they are more apt to remember what it is they are studying. I still remember that jingle to this day and also some of the things Carmen San Diego taught me. I even think there was a television show that you should have your child check out sometime if they are interested in television. It is 2019, right? These are two of the best computer games to learn from as a child. Source:https://childrenhelpingchildren.net/computer- games-to-learn-from.html
