  1. Doctor of Medicine (4 years) Our Doctor of Medicine (MD) program is one of the most coveted and in-demand programs for students aspiring to make a career as a doctor.

Program Details • Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at Texila American University – College of Medicine (TAU-COM) is an undergraduate medical program. • The Doctor of Medicine program has the following: • Basic Sciences – 2 Years • Clinical Sciences – 2 Years • In the first two years, the basic medical sciences are taught in the context of their relevance to patient care. Later in the last two years of the program, clinical teaching builds upon and reinforces this strong scientific foundation.

  3. Admission Process • Apply online. • Submit all the required documents. • Pay the application fees. • Initial Screening by the admissions officer for eligibility. • Review of application and supporting documents by the admissions committee. • Take TMAT (Texila Admissions Test). • Attend Multiple Mini Interviews. • Final Decision.

  4. Admission Requirements • Applicants to the MD program are expected to have a minimum of 90 college-level credits or equivalent education with the following required courses: • One year of Inorganic or General Chemistry (with labs) • One year of Organic Chemistry (with labs) • One year of General Biology (with labs) • One year of Physics (with labs) • One year of English • Pre-Calculus/Calculus or Statistics • *Students who have successfully completed advanced science courses such as Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, and Genetics will be given preference.

Admission Documents • Completed Online Application • Color Copy of Passport + 2 copies of Color Passport Photos • Official Transcripts from all institutions attended • Personal Statement (One page or 1500 words explaining why you want to become a Physician) • Resume or CV • 2 Letters of Recommendation (At least one must come from an Academic source)
