Medal of Honor Organizations Congressional Medal of Honor Society Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation Founded as the fundraising arm of the Society Mission is to perpetuate the legacy of the MOH through outreach and education Living History Video Project Publish Medal of Honor: Portraits of Valor Beyond the Call of Duty book Character Development Program • Membership is made up exclusively of the living MOH recipients • Currently there are 81 living • Mission of the Society is to protect, preserve, and perpetuate the legacy of the MOH

  2. The Medal of Honor Convention The purpose of the Conventions are to: • Reunite the recipients of the Medal of Honor • Educate the community about the Medal of Honor • Perpetuate the legacy of the Medal of Honor • Honor Veterans • Celebrate freedom

  8. What Can I Do to Help? • Contact the Veterans organizations in your community and tell them about the convention • Promote the Character Development Program to your local school districts • Recruit Veterans to attend the convention • Identify sponsors
