  1. MY CLOUD PROJECT • By Dorotea Zaric !MR.BARBERS 5th GRADE TEAM!

  2. STRATUS CLOUDS

  3. Stratus ………………………………. This picture was taken outside of my house on 10 – 19 – 11 at 4:45 pm. It is in the family of altostratus clouds. It belongs to the Middle Cloud group (2000-7000m up).It was took near my library. An interesting thing about alto stratus clouds is that they are more common in the mid latitudes. ( This cloud would fit ……………………………………. under the category of …….. “Gathered” clouds.)

  4. Stratus ………………………………. This is a very dark type of cirrostratus clouds. I took this picture on 10-18-11 at 6:35 pm. It belongs in the High Cloud group (5000-13000m), It’s kind of a wispy cloud that sits high in the sky. This specific one was a little thicker than normal cirrostratus clouds. (This cloud would fit ………. under the category of … “Unusual” clouds.)

  5. CIRRUS CLOUDS !!!!!

  6. Cirrus ………………………………… This picture of an ordinary cirrus cloud was took on 10-22-11 at 2:45 pm .They are typically found at heights greater than 20,000 feet (6,000 meters).

  7. Cumulus Clouds 

  8. Cumulus …………………………… This picture of this cloud was took on 10 – 21 -11 at 3:13 pm in front of my church. This is considered a regular cumulus cloud. They can form in the lower, mid, and upper atmosphere. Usually, the base of the cumulus clouds is usually up to 2,400m in altitude. (This would fit under the … category of “Puffy” clouds.)

  9. Cumulus This cloud is a part of the altocumulus family. The range for these clouds are (1,200 - 6,100 m) above ground level. Their presence on a warm, humid, summer morning repeatedly signals the making of thunderstorms. (This cloud would fit under .. The category of “Gathered . clouds.”)
