Some Things Clouds Do For Us • Stratus clouds reflect sunlight, keeping Earth cool! • Cirrus clouds trap in heat like a blanket, keeping Earth warm. • Cumulus clouds are associated with fair weather, and sometimes can be responsible for cold fronts. • Cumulonimbus clouds are formed from cumulus clouds mixed with changing weather patterns and are associated with heavy rain storms, hail, lightning, thunder, and sometimes even tornadoes! • Do you know what to do during a tornado?
