  2. Setting • It takes place just about everywhere in his city including his house, school, and everywhere in his neighborhood.

  3. Summary • Greg is mean , but doesn’t mean to be because he just tries to fend for his self. • Rowley is nice and he is always himself. He also is never mean to other people and has things that only little kids like. • Greg is scrawny, short and skinny. (doesn’t really describe him in the book or Rowley). • Rowley is taller and bigger.

  4. Problem/Conflict He and his mom are having a fuss of what they want to do over the summer (external conflict man vs. man).

  5. Plot • The end of the summer they ended up having a good time. But Greg still didn’t do what he wanted to do.

  6. Opinion • I honestly like this book because its funny and his family relationship is funny. I also like the story line cause he is middle school and he tries to go in thinking that middle school is going to be hard or an adventure

  9. Summary A kid name Greg Heffley just wants to stay inside and play video games with the shades closed. The mom thinks differently and makes him go out with his friends and do things he didn’t want to do at all. Then he ended up having a great time.
