I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! I love Fall! It is such a wonderful change in weather and welcomes the beginning of the coming Holidays! Your student is welcome to celebrate Fall by bringing a small to medium sized pumpkin to class. Friday, October 10th, is an EARLY RELEASE DAY. Have a wonderful week! • Upcoming Events: • Beginning Monday, October 6th if you have not submitted a new lunch application for the 2014-2015 school year, your student will be charged full price for school lunch.  When they reach the charge limit, they will be given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit and milk until the balance is paid.  If you are unsure whether your lunch application has been processed for the year, please contact the front office at 945-1210 and we can let you know the status.  We know how important it is for our student’s to have a good lunch each day. • Thursday, October 9th is the day our Cookie Dough Fundraiser orders will be in.  Please make plans to pick up all orders that day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the gym at the back of the school.  • Thursday evening is our PTO meeting and 5th grade program.  The PTO meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria and will be followed by our 5th grade student’s performance.  Up until 7 o’clock you may also pick up cookie dough orders and drop off bikes for the Bike Rodeo in the gym. • Friday, October 10th is our annual Converse Bike Rodeo.  Kinder will be competing from 7:40 to 8:20, 1st grade from 8:25 to 9:05, 2nd and 3rd grade from 9:15 to 10:05 and 4th and 5th grade from 10:10 to 11:00.  If you are volunteering or watching, please make sure to check in and receive a visitor badge at the front or back entrance to the school. • Friday is also an early release day.  All students will be released at 11:30.    • Please return all Parent-Teacher Conference forms this week!
