  3. OBJECTIVE • Continuous improvement of the Work Control Group, focusing on Takt Time, Production Rate and Manning to meet customer demand both present and future.

  4. Process Improvement Challenges • Ship Support • Leadership & Ownership • Routing Procedures for AWR Rev’s, Y-Splits and CWP’s • Cancelled Jobs/AWRs • Emergent/Short notice work. • Consolidate Tank and Sail Coordinator’s into WCG • SOMS Connectivity • Real Estate • MANNING

  5. Takt Time = Time Avail (manhrs/day) = 14 Customer Demand (WAF’s/Day) = 75 now (100+ Feb.) Takt Time = .19 hrs/WAF Production Rate = Man Hours = 24 personnel x14 avail hrs Unit (current rate) = 61 WAFs “Peak” (current) PRODUCTION RATE = 5.8 (from historical data) 5.5 (from process map) How we got the numbers!
