Basic Courses: Compulsory Language I 4p Language II 3p Ethics/Religion 1p Physical Education 2p Mathematics 3p or 5p TOTAL13 or 15p 4 Period Options: (min. 2, max.4) Biology History Language IV Chemistry Geography Physics Philosophy Art Economics or Latin Music Language III Advanced Courses: (3p) Advanced Language I Advanced Language II Advanced Maths Complementary Courses: (2p) Art-Music-ICT Bio Lab or Chemistry Lab or Physics Lab Sociology

  10. Option Choices in S6 • Students may choose one or more Complementary Courses (2 p) as long as they do not exceed 35 periods per week. • Students are required to choose one or more Complementary Courses if they have fewer than 31 periods per week.

Option Choices in S6 (a summary) : • Each student is required to take 4 Compulsory Basic Courses • Each student is required to choose between the 2 Mathematics Courses • Each student is required to choose between 2 and 4 Option Courses • Each student is required to choose Basic Courses in history, geography, philosophy and biology if they are not chosen as Options • Each student may add 1 of the 3 Advanced Courses • Each student may choose 1 or more Complementary Course in order to ensure 31 to 35 periods per week

  13. An optional subject can only be opened if it is chosen by at least 5 pupils. Options will have to fit within the timetable. This implies that not all combinations may be possible. Economics, Latin and L IV can only be chosen by students who have taken them in S4 and S5. VITAL INFORMATION !
