Pre-requisites • Following points must be followed before starting the plug in installation: o You should login as an Admin in Odoo. o Check that your Odoo Instance is compatible for Peafowl Theme. o An e-commerce module should be present in your instance to use this app. www.appjetty.com 1

  3. USER MANUAL – Peafowl Odoo Theme Installation Installation Steps Step 1: Download and extract the zip file. Step 2: Check your Odoo add-ons path. • It should be same as defined in Odoo Config file. • Config files are mostly saved in /etc folder. For e.g. /etc/odoo.conf • Open Config file: o Give the command: sudo/etc/odoo.conf o Config file content: addons_path = /opt/odoo/addons Step 3: Open Terminal and go to download location • For e.g. if the download location path is: /home/odoo/Downloads then the command to be written in the terminal would be: cd/home/odoo/Downloads Step 4: Copy download modules to addons path • Following points must be followed before starting the plug in installation: o You should login as an Admin in Odoo. o Check that your Odoo Instance is compatible for Peafowl Theme. o An e-commerce module should be present in your instance to use this app. Step 5: Restart Odoo server Step 6: Login with the admin credentials in your odoo instance. www.appjetty.com 2

  6. USER MANUAL – Peafowl Odoo Theme Plugin Configuration Step 1: Product Configuration • Log into your Odoo Instance as Admin. Go to Sales→ Products. Open any product in “Edit” mode. • Click on the “Sales” tab. You will find two new options: o Arrival Products o Feature Products • Tick the checkbox against the category in which you would like to include your product. This will reflect during “Product Scroller Snippet”. www.appjetty.com 5

You will be directed to the home page of your website. • Find a settings icon on the top right corner of the page. Click on the icon and a theme customization menu will appear. • Layout: You can choose the layout from “Wide” and “Boxed”. Wideoption will cover fullpage and box option will be compact compared to the wide layout. Primary Color: Choose your favourite color from six available options for the content. Background Pattern: This will be reflected when you choose the box layout. Theselected pattern will be displayed on the sides. Title: Enter the text to be displayed as a heading to the productscroller. Sub title: Enter the text to be displayed below the heading as a subtitle. Product: Select thecategory of products from “Arrival” or “Featured”.The products will be displayed according to the category selected by comparing it with the check box ticked in the product detail page in step 1. www.appjetty.com 8

To proceed with this, click on “Edit” button and select the container block you would like to modify. • The “Customize” drop down contains option respective to the selected snippet. Step 5: Edit Product Scroller Snippet • The modification of “Product Scroller” snippet is quite different. To modify it, first and foremost select the snippet. • Click on “Modify” option from the “Customize” drop down. • A popup will be displayed as on page 9. Fill up the information and click on “Apply Button”. Then click on “Save”. • The modification will be reflected in the snippet. www.appjetty.com 12
