Technology plan • Follow and implement newest technology tendencies as much as possible (newest smartboards, all software up to date, etc) • Split GPA into JumpRope (K-8) and ManageBac (9-12) • Apply “Bring Your Own Device” policy for high school students • Optimize the network from server, computer and finance point of view

  3. Technology plan cont. • Upgrade 20++ computers in school • Accomplish this by getting new desktops for the Computer Lab and scatter the ones that are now through school • Get at least 15 more tablets for student usage

Technology plan cont. • Lower and Middle school students will be able to use laptops as previously • There will also be 18 new tablets for students needs • All the equipment will be stored in the Computer Lab • In order for his/her students to use the laptops/tablets teacher will have to sign in as previously

Technology plan cont. • Moodle is going to be resurrected! • Cloud printing will be solved using Gmail cloud printing • Encourage both teachers and students to use Gdrive more • This could lead us to transition in the future for external back ups (BlueBridge, TEO, etc.) or maybe even go 100% cloud

  7. Short term plan 2014-2015 • Desktop computers • Upgrade our current server • Computer cable scheme + new devices after the construction • Shift some of the computers to Windows 8.1 • Upgrade at least 4 projectors • Tablets • Some other minor devices requested by teachers (SmartSlate, new Camera, etc.)
