READ: ISAIAH 6:1-3 1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2 Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3 And one cried to another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!" And while he was angry with the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests in the house of the LORD, beside the incense altar. 20 And Azariah the chief priest and all the priests looked at him, and there, on his forehead, he was leprous; so they thrust him out of that place. Indeed he also hurried to get out, because the LORD had struck him. 21 King Uzziah was a leper until the day of his death. He dwelt in an isolated house, because he was a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD. Then Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. 6 Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. 7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves' feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze. 8 The hands of a man were under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings. 9 Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle. 11 Thus were their faces. Their wings stretched upward; two wings of each one touched one another, and two covered their bodies. 12 And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!" 9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Himwho sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying: 11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created." Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The LORD of hosts."

WHAT HAPPENED ON MOUNT SINAI? READ: EXODUS 19:18-20 18 Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. 19 And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. 20 Then the LORD came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. NKJV

READ: EXODUS 40:34-35 34 The cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. WHAT HAPPENED AT THE DEDICATION OF THE TEMPLE? READ: 1 KINGS 8:10-11 10 It came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, 11 So that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD.

  24. QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 6:4-5 WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THE GLORY OF THE LORD DEPARTED FROM THE TEMPLE? READ: EZEKIEL 10:4-5 4 The glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and paused over the threshold of the temple; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD‘S glory. 5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God when He speaks. NKJV

READ: EZEKIEL 43:5 5 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple. NKJV READ: EZEKIEL 44:4 4 He brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple; so I looked, and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD; and I fell on my face. NKJV

READ: REVELATION 15:8 8 The temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple till the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed. Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? 12 Now therefore, go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall say." NKJV

Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth." 7 But the LORD said to me: "Do not say, 'I am a youth,‘ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you," says the LORD. READ: DEUTERONOMY 5:24-27 24 You said: 'Surely the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire. We have seen this day that God speaks with man; yet he still lives. 25 Therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the LORD our God anymore, then we shall die. 26 Who is there of all flesh who has heard the voice of the living God speaking from the midst of the fire, as we have, and lived? 27 You go near and hear all that the LORD our God may say, and tell us all that the LORD our God says to you, and we will hear and do it.' NKJV

WHAT DID HE SAY TO ISAIAH? WHO HAS POWER AND AUTHORITY TO TAKE AWAY SIN?

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 6:6-7 6 Then ONE of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. 7 And he touched my mouth with it, and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged." WHERE DID HE GET THE LIVE COAL? READ: LEVITICUS 6:12-13 12 The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out. NKJV WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE OF THE FIRE ON THE ALTAR?

WHY DID NADAB AND ABIHU DIE? READ: LEVITICUS 10:1-3 1 Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them. 2 Fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD. 3 Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD spoke, saying: 'By those who come near MeI must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.'“ So Aaron held his peace. NKJV

WHY WERE THE COALS OF FIRE SCATTERED OVER THE CITY? READ: EZEKIEL 10:1-2 1 I looked, and there in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim, there appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne. 2 He spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, "Go in among the wheels, under the cherub, fill your hands with coals of fire from among the cherubim, and scatter them over the city." And he went in as I watched. NKJV WHAT DID THIS SIGNIFY?

READ: JEREMIAH 1:9 9 The LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: "Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. NKJV

READ: DANIEL 10:16-17 16 Suddenly, one having the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke, saying to him who stood before me, "My lord, because of the vision my sorrows have overwhelmed me, and I have retained no strength. 17 How can this servant of my lord talk with you, my lord? As for me, no strength remains in me now, nor is any breath left in me." NKJV
