  2. Stage 1 • All plants begin from a seed. For the seed to germinate (grow), it needs water, soil (nutrients), and sunlight.

  3. Stage 2 • When the seed receives water, soil (nutrients), and sunlight it begins to germinate. • Roots begin to show.

  4. Stage 3 • In this stage a tiny little shoot is seen above the ground. This shoot is called a seedling.

  5. Stage 4 • In this stage, the plant becomes an adult plant. An adult plant is fully grown.
