  4. SLP • Target: All NSS Students • Students will receive a profile (report) when he/she graduates.

  5. Content • Personal Particulars • Academic Result • Other Learning Experience (OLE) • Awards and Achievements Issued by School • Performance/Awards & Key Participation Outside School • Self Account (~1000 words in English)

  6. Personal Particulars • Name, CSNO, HKID, etc.

  7. Academic Result • S.4 & S.5 Promotion Marks, • S.6 Mock Exam Marks

  8. Other Leaning Experience Atheistic Sport Career Service Moral Education

  9. Awards and Achievements Issued by School • Club, Society, Team, Student Bodies • Internal Awards • Internal Services • etc Be sure that the thing is big enough to be an “Achievement”!

  10. Performance/Awards & Key Participation Outside School • Any activity or award outside schools • You need a teacher-in-charge to verify the data.

  11. Performance/Awards & Key Participation Outside School • School will not verify whether your claim is true. Teacher-in-charge only checks whether the claim is reasonable. • You may be required to provide proof to those who read your SLP report later.

  12. Self Account Students should submit an essay which will be attached at the back of the SLP report. (~1000 words) • For supplementary information • For description of your career insight, strength & weakness, interest, etc.

  21. Procedures (S.4 & S.5) • Early June Check your school records of CCA, Service and Awards • Before Visit the school web site 20 June 14 i. select existing items, ii. enter non-school related items • 2 July 2014 Student Profile Interview

  22. Procedures (S.4 & 5) • You can submit your events in S.4 and S.5 when you are in S.6 later. • It is highly recommended to submit at the first moment so that • You can still find the person to verify your activity, • You can show your planning.

  23. Verification • School Items: No need • Self-input items: Need • There must be a teacher-in-charge. • The record will be sent to the teacher-in-charge to verify. • Only verified items can be selected for the final SLP Report.

  24. Schedule (S.6) • 24/10/2013 Hall Talk • 1/11/2013 School data uploaded to SLP website • 18/11/2013 S.6 students finalize the SLP entry • Late November First checking of SLP entry (sample) • Early December Final checking of SLP entry

  25. Schedule (S.6) • Before X’mas Finalized SLP entry to S.6 students • 7/2/2014 Upload Self Account (~1000 words) to web • 10/3/2014 S.6 academic result ready • 21/3/2014 SLP report ready for collection

  26. Procedures (S.6) • Go to SLP web site and select/enter all events you want to include to SLP. • Deadline 18/11/2013 All S.6 students cannot enter SLP website after the deadline!

  27. Procedures (S.6) • The website will be re-open for S.6 to upload their self-account passages of OEA and SLP after 2/1/2014. • Upload period: 2/1/2014 to 7/2/2014

  28. What will you get? (S.6) • December 2013 – SLP summary for S.6 students to enter their JUPAS OEA. • 21/3/2014 – SLP report (hard copy) ready to be collected at School Office.

  29. Minimum Requirement For ALL S.6 graduates You must have at least ONErecord selected inOLE and ONE in Award & Major Achievement Issued by School.
