What is conditional sentence? นักเรียนลองดูประโยคต่อไปนี้นะคะ If she goes to work, I will go with you. If you heat ice, it melts. If you had seen the film, I wouldn’t have bought the video. You will catch a cold if you don’t wear a jacket. He would go to Korea if he won the scholarship. ประโยคข้างต้นนี้เรียกว่าประโยคอะไร ในแต่ละประโยครูปกริยา ต่างกันหรือไม่ และมีความหมายต่างกันอย่างไร Exit
What is conditional sentence? เก่งมากค่ะ ... ประโยคข้างต้นนี้คือประโยคเงื่อนไข เรียกอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า If clause หรือ Conditional clause หรือ Conditional sentence จากตัวอย่างจะพบว่ารูปกริยาในแต่ละประโยคแตกต่างกัน ซึ่งทำให้มีความหมายต่างกันค่ะ เรามาดูรายละเอียดกันหน่อยนะคะ Exit
What is conditional sentence? Conditional sentences หรือเรียกอีกอย่างหนึ่งว่า If clause คือ ประโยคที่มีข้อความแสดงเงื่อนไข (condition) หรือการสมมุติ ประกอบด้วย 1. ส่วนที่แสดงเงื่อนไข เรียกว่า if clause 2. ส่วนที่แสดงผลของเงื่อนไข เรียกว่า main clause Exit
ตำแหน่งของIf clause • วาง If clause ไว้ต้นประโยค ก่อน main clauseโดยใช้เครื่องหมาย , คั่นระหว่าง clause ทั้งสอง ดังนี้ • วางไว้หลัง main clause ไม่ต้องใช้เครื่องหมาย , คั่นระหว่าง clause ทั้งสอง ดังนี้ If clause + , + main clause Main clause + if clause Exit

Types of If Clauses If Clauseแบ่งออกเป็น 4ประเภทใหญ่ๆ คือ • Zero conditional (If ClauseType 0) • First conditional (If ClauseType I) • Second conditional (If ClauseType II) • Third conditional (If ClauseType III) Exit
ความหมายและโครงสร้างประโยค If ClauseType 0 1. Zero conditional (If ClauseType 0)เป็นโครงสร้างที่ใช้เพื่อกล่าวถึงข้อเท็จจริงโดยทั่วไปหรือข้อเท็จจริงทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (general truth or science fact)จะใช้โครงสร้าง Present Simple Tense ( v.1) ทั้งใน if clause และ main clause ดังนี้ If + Present + , + Present s.+v.1 s.+v.1 Exit

ความหมายและโครงสร้างประโยคIf ClauseType I 2. First conditional (If ClauseType I)เป็นโครงสร้างที่ใช้เพื่อ กล่าวถึง ความเป็นไปได้ในปัจจุบันหรือในอนาคต (a real or probable situation in the present or future)จะใช้โครงสร้าง Present Simple Tense ( v.1) ใน if clause ส่วน main clause จะใช้ Future Simple Tense (will + v.1) ดังนี้ If + Present + , + Future s.+v.1 s.+will+v.1 Exit

ความหมายและโครงสร้างประโยคIf ClauseType II 3. Second conditional (If ClauseType II)เป็นโครงสร้างที่ใช้เพื่อกล่าวถึงสถานการณ์ที่ไม่เป็นจริงในปัจจุบัน (unreal or unlikely situation in the present) เป็นการพูดสมมุติ หรือเกี่ยวกับการแสดงความคิดเห็นหรือเพื่อให้คำแนะนำ จะใช้โครงสร้าง Past Simple Tense (v.2) ใน if clause และใช้would + verb ช่องที่ 1 ใน main clauseดังนี้ If + Past + , + Present conditional s.+v.2 s.+would+v.1 Exit
ตัวอย่างประโยค If ClauseType II If dogs had wings, they would be able to fly.ความหมายคือ ถ้าสุนัขมีปีก มันคงจะบินได้ ประโยคนี้เป็นการพูดสมมุติ ซึ่งข้อเท็จจริงคือ เป็นไปไม่ได้ที่สุนัขจะมีปีกผลก็คือสุนัขบินไม่ได้ hadและ would beในประโยคนี้เป็นคำอะไร ลองกดปุ่ม เพื่อดูคำตอบค่ะ Exit
ความหมายและโครงสร้างประโยคIf ClauseType III 4. Third conditional (If ClauseType III) เป็นโครงสร้างที่ใช้เพื่อกล่าวถึงเวลาในอดีต และสถานการณ์ที่ตรงข้ามกับข้อเท็จจริง ในอดีต (an imaginary situation contrary to facts in the past) จะใช้โครงสร้าง Past Perfect Tense (had + v.3) ใน if clause และใช้ would + have + verb ช่องที่ 3 ใน main clause ดังนี้ If + Past Perfect + , + Perfect conditional s.+had+v.3 s.+would+have +v.3 Exit
ตัวอย่างประโยค If ClauseType III If I hadhad enough money, I would have bought this Volvo.ความหมายคือ ถ้าฉันมีเงินพอ ฉันจะซื้อรถวอลโว่คันนี้ ซึ่งข้อเท็จจริงคือ ผู้พูดมีเงินไม่มากพอ จึงไม่ได้ซื้อรถคันนี้ (อาจซื้อคันที่ถูกกว่าไปแล้ว) ในประโยคนี้นักเรียนทราบไหมคะว่า had hadและ would have boughtเป็นคำอะไร ลองกดปุ่ม เพื่อดูคำตอบค่ะ Exit

Conclusion Conditional clause หรือ If clause คือ ประโยคเงื่อนไข ประกอบด้วยส่วนที่เป็นเงื่อนไขและส่วนที่เป็นผลของเงื่อนไข มี 4 แบบ คือ1. Zero conditional (If ClauseType 0)เป็นประโยคเงื่อนไขที่ใช้กล่าวถึงข้อเท็จจริงโดยทั่วไปหรือข้อเท็จจริงทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (If + v.1 , v.1) 2.
