  5. How it started... Master Shifu has asked me to prepare since I have just finished the same contest last year...

  6. Until I deliver my speech in Brunei, • The script has gone through at least 8 timesof ‘surgery’...

  7. Two times of practicing with Master Shifu at TIM Jakarta “You are talking to a large audience... Make them ‘see’ your words” “Remember your body language!” “Expression” “Vocal variety”

  8. Rehearsing and practicing with Fellow Toastmasters Including Staging at 1.30am!

  9. The ‘sacrifices...’ Stopping my diet program Sore throats Personal Expenses

  10. Master Shifu’s Message before I went to Stage “Be yourself...” “Do your best...” “Forget about everything you practiced. Just enjoy it” “May the force be with you...” “Inner Peace...”

  11. To make a great speech, we need to talk with our heart, with our soul... ... We need to infuse...

  12. And, don’t forget to have fun!

What I have learned: • Just like crafting a ‘masterpiece’..., there are a lot of work to be done and processesto go through • Strong will from within ourselves • Time investment – no ‘instant’ result • A lot of thoughts... Re-views and re-works... • Practicing and sharpening • Getting and giving... Sharing to one another... • Mentoring: find helps! • Put your heart, your soul, and your passion • ... And don’t forget to have fun!!! 
