  1. Get a green Science Explorer Book from the back lab table • Turn to the inside cover or page 216 • Hold a piece of lined paper portrait (long way), and fold a quarter of the way over • Unfold the paper. • On the short folded side, number, draw and label a safety symbol. • On the longer side of the paper, copy the definition. • When all safety symbols are copied, get a plain white sheet of paper. (there are 19) • Holding the paper landscape (side), fold paper in half • Unfold paper. On one side draw & label the safety symbol of your choice. • On other side, design and draw a picture or comic that represents your symbol. • *See example on board!
