  4. 10% Charity/Donations • $1,000,000 X 10% = $100,000 • $800,000 - $100,000 = $700,000 remaining I chose to donate $100,000 to the Humane Society of Forsyth County because I love animals. “The Humane Society of Forsyth County in Cumming, Georgia is dedicated to preventing cruelty, relieving the suffering of, and providing humane treatment and rehoming for animals. It is a “no kill” shelter” (Human Society)

  5. 4-Year College Education • I would like to attend the University of Alabama. My brother is going to UA next year. Their football team is my favorite team. I want to study Geology and eventually become a paleontologist. • $700,000 - $142,600 = $557,400 remaining *includes tuition, fees, dining, room, books & supplies

  6. Car • I want to buy a new black 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid for $33,080. I like the way this car looks. I like that it is a hybrid and gets 41 miles per gallon. • $557,400 - $33,080 = $524,320 remaining

  7. Home • I selected this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom brick home in Cumming, Georgia for $171,000. One of the reasons I want it is that it has a pool. • $524,320 - $171,000= $ 353,320 remaining

  8. Family Gifts/Sister (Hannah) • I want to buy Hannah a 2-month old Labrador Retriever/Bulldog mix named Marilyn from the Atlanta Humane Society for $150. • $353,320 - $150 = $ 353,170 remaining

  9. Family Gifts/Brother (Luke) • I want to buy my oldest brother, Luke, a new bat for $300. There are new bat rules in 2012 and he can’t use any of his old ones. • $353,170 - $300= $ 352,870 remaining

  10. Family Gifts/Brother (Janson) • I want to buy my brother, Janson, a plane ticket to come visit us. It costs $218. He would fly from Dayton, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia. • $352,870 - $218 = $ 352,652 remaining

  11. Family Gifts/Dad • I want to buy my dad a PlayStation 4 for $700. It is not out yet but he enjoys playing video games. • $352,652 - $700 = $ 351,952 remaining

  12. Family Gifts/Mom • I want to buy my mom a chocolate diamond necklace for $523. She likes jewelry and she doesn’t have any chocolate diamonds. • $351,952 - $523 = $351,429 remaining
