  2. Germany’s flag is made up of three colors Red, Gold, and Black. Black symbolizes determination. Red symbolizes hardiness, bravery, strength, and valor. Gold symbolizes generosity.

  3. Germany’s government is a federal republic. A federal republic is a form of government made up of a federal state with a constitution and self- governing subunits. Type of Government

  4. Germany’s population is very high. The total population from 2011 Census is 81,768,000.

  5. The capital city of Germany is Berlin. Berlin has a population greater than 3.45 million.

Major Industry Germany’s major industry is an area of coal mines and steel mills along the Ruhr River in North Rhine-Westphalia; Bremen and Hamburg, have huge shipbuilding yards; Bavaria in the south, where many plants for the manufacture of automobiles and stereo equipment are located; and Dresden, which has power plant and a growing electronic industry.
