AP vs Concurrent Enrollment AP (Advanced Placement) Concurrent Enrollment College level courses taught at the high school College credit can be earned based on your final exam score (3, 4, or 5) $87 for each AP exam Usually the most challenging courses in high school. SLCC courses taken at the high school Cost is minimal compared to college tuition – Registration fee ($40) and purchase book College credit MAY be applied toward post-secondary degree Grade stays on college transcript

College credit is solely based on final exam score Most colleges/universities will accept AP credit Class is taken through SLCC Earn college credit by passing the class Grade earned is permanently on college transcript Not all colleges/universities accept concurrent enrollment as transfer credit
