The peach on the coin is for there state name the state of peaches • The bird on the coin is Georgia's state bird the brown thrashethr , but this bird is not Georgia's only state bird the northern bobwhite . • The cotton and corn are on the coin because they are the most popular things grown in Georgia. • Rosa laevigata (Cherokee Rose) is a white, fragrant rose native to southern China and Taiwan the United States. I mostly pick this fragrant rose is the state flower of Georgia. The plane flag on the coin is the first flag of Georgia , but it was not the first Of Georgia . The flag with the stars is the flag now representing Georgia. The current flag of the U.S. state of Georgia was adopted on May 8, 2003. The person on the coin is William ewen the first governor of Georgia Believed to have been born in England in 1720, Ewen came to Georgia in 1734 as an indentured servant. Later, he became one of the so-called "Malcontents" who opposed the Trustees of the colony. Ewen served in the colonial Assembly starting in 1761. Ewen was elected president of the council on June 22, 1775 and served until December 11, 1775. He returned to the post. The building on the coin is the first school in Georgia it was the first place of learning besides parents
