  1. The Body of Christ Consider your place in…

  2. The Body of Christ is the Church “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” (Ephesians 1:22-23)

  3. Christ is the Savior of the Body – His Church “…Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.” -- Eph. 5:23

  4. Everyone Who is in the Body Was Baptized Into It “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body…” -- 1 Corinthians 12:13

  5. There is One Body 1 “There is one body and one Spirit…” Ephesians 4:4

  6. The parts of the body have many different functions, but they all work together as one. “For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Romans 12:4-5

  7. Every part of the body cares about every other part of the body “…that there not be division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:25, MKJV)

  8. The Whole Body Works Together to Build Itself Up & Take Care of Itself “…the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” -- Ephesians 4:16

  9. Take a moment and ask yourself… “What am I doing to contribute to the growth of the body?”
