  2. Let’s Read the Poem Again: • Go so StudySync and read, “A Poem for My Librarian, Mrs. Long.” • Return to the meet. • Let’s discuss:

  3. Let’s discuss: • What is the theme of this poem? • What was Mrs. Long willing to do? • What was the little girl trying to escape? • Does Nikki Giovanni understand what the librarian did for her? • What is the difference between what the girl’s grandmother gave her and what Mrs. Long gave her?
