He provided great strategic insights, made key introductions every time we needed it, and was always accessible to our team. He's direct, asks the right questions, and brings an infectious energy everywhere he goes. Even when he disagreed with our approach, he found ways to encourage and inspire us. John has a rare combination of IQ and EQ that make him an invaluable asset on any board or management team." — Matt Joseph, Co-Founder & CEO, Locent, reported to John at Verizon "John is one of the most innovative and exceptional clients I have ever had the privilege of working with. His ability to simplify the complexity of large multi-faceted initiatives, break down walls and bureaucracy, and motivate everyone around him while doing so has been the key to his successful career. After more than 10 years of working together as an agency partner, then a client at Twitter, I consider John a mentor and a friend." — Joel Lunenfeld, was with another company when working with John at Verizon Wireless "John brings a great mix of strategy and execution to his roles. It's rare to find someone who is really good at both of those skills, but John is. That enables him to find strategic areas of opportunity and put the team together to make them happen - and happen quickly. He's a guy who wants action and not just a lot of discussion. While he's demanding, people love working for him." — Dave Whetstone, worked directly with John at Verizon Wireless "John is an amazing leader with undying energy and passion. He pushes those around him to think differently, but with passion and purpose.
