Meeting Outcomes By the end of this session, participants will … • Reflect on building capacity and ensuring fidelity (PD Team) • Make design decisions about the Principal Standards module (ID Team) • Discuss NC LTI and implications for our work • Create training and webinars for all evaluation processes to be used this spring and load to a shared storage space • Provide feedback on the fidelity check # 2 session (PD Leads) • Review the RttT application and discuss potential modules (ID team) • Receive an overview of EVAAS • Receive an update on Educator Effectiveness information

Systematic statewide support for all educators • Each small team will create a 60-90 minute webinar to be delivered statewide • Each webinar will be delivered up to 4 times during March and April • In June, each regional team will deliver an all day F2F training on the evaluation instruments in the RESA DSW slot • All team will meet with Eliz and Robert for a content validity check

Ratings • Discuss when in the process an educator is rated • Define developing, proficient, accomplished, distinguished and not demonstrated on teacher and admin tool • Discuss things to look for and potential artifacts • Review scoring the rubric • Discuss “not demonstrated” • Use vignettes to share examples

Teacher Summary Rating Sheet and other end of the year essentials • Review that the NCEES system (remove the word McREL) will lock on June 30 for teachers and administers • Show the form in NCEES and the drop down menus • Discuss when and how you rate the rubric • Review electronic signature process • Review the Record of Teacher Activities form and sign that • Quick review of ratings including “not demonstrated vs. not looked for”
