  3. 1st round of Stakeholders meetings • Aims and objectives: • to raise awareness of the Livediverse project; • to identify and understand the key issues related to biodiversity and livelihoods from different perspectives (national, provincial, local; governmental/ non-governmental); • to identify key stakeholders • to identify existing initiatives and projects within the case study areas that complement the aims and objectives of LiveDiverse project

  4. Took place in November-December 2009 • Summary reports published on Livediverse public website • Full reports available to partners

  5. 2nd round of stakeholders meetings • Aims and Objectives: • Interactions with stakeholders with the different WP 4/6/7/8 through households surveys, village meetings, governance interviews, scenarios focus groups

  6. 3rd round of stakeholders meetings • Objectives (task 3.5) • Discuss livelihood and biodiversity scenarios • Formulate recommendations and proposals for future policy • Outputs • Identify prospects for implementation of recommended policy measures beyond the term of the project • Develop strategies for further activities, including capacity building plans
