  4. Disabilities ServicesTTUHSC OP 10.15 • Any student seeking accommodations on the basis of disability must register as a disabled student with the ADA Compliance Office for Students in the Office of Student Services and must provide all required documentation of disability.

  5. Student Health Services • TTUHSC students are required to pay a Medical Services Fee each semester. With this fee, you can access healthcare in the Family Practice Clinic and see a nurse or physician for minimal or limited minor problems. • You will be required to pay a $10 copay for each visit to the Family Practice Clinic. http://www.ttuhsc.edu/studentservices/studenthealth.aspx

Program of Assistance for Students(PAS) PAS is a program that enhances wellness by providing you and your family the opportunity to manage life’s problems before they become serious and impair your academic and professional performance. Student Health Insurance • Health insurance is strongly recommended for all students to cover major medical, emergency care, specialty care, and pharmacy as these services can be expensive. • All Health Sciences Center students enrolled in 1 or more credit hours must be enrolled in the Academic Health Plan, unless comparable coverage is furnished. • You may obtain suitable coverage from Academic Health Plans at a very competitive price if you do not have other insurance. https://www.academichealthplans.com/ttuhsc/Default.asp

  8. Scholarship Opportunities • Thankathon Scholarship • Double T Scholarship • Both scholarships are open to all currently enrolled TTUHSC students. • Information is distributed via email from Margret Duran as well as on the TTUHSC Student Services website.

  9. Student Synergistic Center • The F. Marie Hall Synergistic Center provides students with a place to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Only students with a TTUHSC ID may access the center. • The lounge is equipped with ping-pong tables, pool tables, air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, exercise room, shower facilities, 52” flat screen T.V., telephones, microwaves, refrigerators and computers. Access for students is 24 hours.
