3. Overview of the ccsa cloud lab solution Section 1

Introducing the CCSA Cloud Labs • Virtualized environment for the CCSA labs is hosted in the Azure public cloud • Spektra Systems is a leading provider of cloud-based training solutions • Microsoft Azure reliably delivers quality services and user experience • Each student uses RDP to connect to a unique lab environment • The default Azure region is East US. You can also request one of these regions: • West US • West Europe • East Asia It is also possible to support other regions. Contact Spektra Systems for more information.

5. Overview CCSA Certification Cloud Labs • Student registers for CCSA lab and then starts the process to generate the lab environment • Each student has a unique Azure account that is valid for 72 hours • Spektra automation framework creates the Azure account and CCSA VMs • Student logs in to Azure portal • Student uses RDP to connect to ccsa-host VM in Azure • ccsa-host VM runs HyperV and hosts the 10 VMs for the CCSA labs • Most cost-effective for each student to shut-down VMs at the end of each day • At the end of the training class, students can delete the environment or it is automatically deleted  [Internal Use] for Check Point employees​
