  4. A little Bit About the Middle Ages(400-1400) The Kingdom Chronicles:The Belt of Truth

  5. When we become citizens of God’s Kingdom, we need to get serious about the Lord and choosing to live for him.We need to be ready for the battle between the two kingdoms.

  6. Becoming a Knight -There were only a few ways in which a person could become a knight. The first way was the normal course of action for the son of a noble -If you were from a royal family, you could leave home and begin your training to be a knight as early at seven years old.

  7. Becoming a Knight -At the age of 7, they were considered Pages-At the age of 14, they became Squires-At the age of 21, they were Knights

  8. Becoming a Knight The medieval knight was the equivalent of the modern tank. He was covered in multiple layers of armor, and could plow through foot soldiers standing in his way.

  9. Becoming a Knight -A knight’s armor could weight as much as 60 lbs. -A knight’s sword was so heavy that he needed to use it with both hands. -What would hold the armor Together?

  10. During the Medieval times knights wore a belt around their clothing to keep their clothes up and to hold their swords.This belt was the very fits piece of armor the knight would put on.

  11. In the same way are to wear the belt of truth. The belt of the truth of God holds everything else together. The truth keeps us strong and sure.

  13. There is a difference between saying:“There are no absolutes”and“Not accepting the absolute truth”

  14. Apart from the standard of God, Jesus and the Word, there is no way to determine what truth is—everything becomes a matter of personal opinion.And who determines which opinion is right?

  15. The only basis for determining truth from error, right from wrong, comes from embracing the One who is the truth.

  16. God is Truth Exodus 34:6“And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth”(NKJV)

  17. Jesus is the truth John 14:6 “Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

  18. The Word is Truth John 17:17 “Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”

  20. There are two kingdoms –one led by God and one led by the Enemy.

  21. John 3:5“Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”

  36. The Apostle Paul regarded Genesis 3 as totally, historically true. • Jesus, regarded Genesis as totally, historically true. (Matthew 19:4-6) • Adam and Eve were real people and what they did has a lasting effect to the present day. El apóstol Paul consideró Génesis 3 como totalmente, históricamente verdadero.
