AbsoluteProof concepts • AbsoluteProof certifies • that electronic documents existed at a particular point in time and have not been modified since • through a Trusted Timestamping Service, internet-based and relying on standard “Hash and Link” methods • AbsoluteProof operates on any form of document Group/Presentation Title Agilent Restricted

AbsoluteProof services • Seal • Generates a seal, based on a document hash, which includes the timestamp • Validate • Compares the submitted information with the one stored related to that hash • Publication Extension • Extends seal with data to compute path to published value (New York Times) to enable independent validation • Renew • Refreshes seal with new generation of hash algorithms, maintaining the original one, to enable timestamp to last the lifetime of the record Group/Presentation Title Agilent Restricted
