  3. Different Attitudes • Traditional Protestants believe men are more important than women and women cannot be priests. • Catholics believe men and women are equal but only men can be priests. • Modern Protestants believe that men and women are equal so women can be Priests.

  4. Key Words Equality the state of everyone having equal rights regardless of gender/race/class. Sexism discriminating against people because of their gender (being male or female).

  5. Card Game Match the cards to the different attitudes.

  6. Check your answers and copy the cards into the correct boxes on your board.

  7. Plan a part E question. “Women should have the same rights as men in religion” In your answer you should refer to Roman Catholic Christianity. Plan 3 bullet points for part i) your opinion & Plan 3 bullet points for part ii) why people may disagree with you.
