  1. June Release 3.2 June 23rd, 2008

  2. Person Management24078 • Workers will no longer receive an unnecessary pop-up when editing an address on the Person Management page.

  3. Person Management24186 • When inserting a new address on Person Management, the previous address of the same type will automatically be ended. This prevents the user from having to first edit the old address, enter an end date, save and close that page, and then insert the new address.

  4. Worker Assignment23917 • When the records returned on the Assignment Management page are more than 50 records, the results should paginate.

  5. Worker Assignment22700 • Supervisors that have an approval level of 2 or higher and the security to make assignments will now be able to assign restricted cases from search. This will save time if a supervisor needs access to information in a restricted case but does not have the security to view restricted case information from search.

  6. Worker Assignment24075 • Supervisors using Assignment Management will now be able to manage their own assignments. This will save time when a supervisor would like to manage the cases and providers that he or she is assigned to.

  7. Worker Assignment24297 • When reassigning providers in Assignment Management on the Select Worker page, the provider names were displaying in the format of First Name, Last Name. It will now be displayed as Last Name, First Name.

  8. Ticklers24058 • The View Ticklers page will now display the due dates and this action will also be available via Search. This will allow users to see when the actual work is due before the tickler displays on the desktop.

  9. Case Notes21006 • The case note category and types have been modified, and new fields have been added. These changes were made to simplify documentation of monthly caseworker contacts with children in out of home care. • Please attend the Case Worker Contacts breakout session tomorrow at 9:10 for an in depth presentation of the changes.

  10. Case Notes21006 • The ‘Worker Making Contact’ will remain the searched worker when creating multiple notes for the same case

  11. Case Notes21006 • Selected participants will NOT stay selected when creating multiple notes for the same case

  12. Manage Worker7762 • Users with security to Maintain > Worker will now be able to enter training plan information instead of this being limited to only the worker’s direct supervisor

  13. Approvals23484 • An enhancement will be implemented in to allow workers with approval level 2 or higher to edit a piece of work when the approval was in a status of Recalled Received

  17. Eligibility 5286 • When a child is found ineligible for IV-E, the re-determination tickler will no longer be created.

  18. Home Provider24340 • Home Provider and Private Provider need to have updated functionality to allow better maintenance of rates. • 1. Allow users with all county access to update service type rows such that they can set other county services to active or inactive. • 2. Allow the ability to remove services that a provider no longer carries. • 3. Do not allow users to activate service types that have been associated with an inactive category.

  19. Licensing Home Providers24193 • The services listed under a provider will display in the correct age range order (0-4, 5-11, 12-14, 15+). • This will be displayed in three places: • 1) Edit Licensed Services page (launched off the License) • 2) Home Provider and Private Provider pages- Services tab • 3) Outliner under Services icon

  20. Home Provider License9208 • All AFCARS information will need to be entered for a home provider prior to creating a foster home or treatment foster home license.

  21. Access/Maintain Case 6496 • The Relationship fields on Access Report and Maintain Case have been significantly reduced in an effort to ensure consistency of use across the state • The Relationship Values will be different depending on if the report is a CPS report or a Kinship referral. • For CPS reports, many of the unnecessary values were removed and replaced with “Mandated Reporter” and “Non-Mandated Reporter”.

  22. Access24433 • Add a CPS Alert checkbox on Child Welfare Service Reports

  23. CPS Alert

  24. Access24467 • The relationship processing for adoptive child will be like what we do currently for biological child. When a new access report is created and reference person is selected, the system will look for the most current relationship first in the most recent open case.

  25. Access23798 • The reporter section on the Service Report template has been removed to prevent the disclosure of reporter information.

  27. Desktop280 • There will be a case count and provider count on the desktop. This will display next to the cases expando, providers expando, and under the worker within the workers expando (for supervisors). This will allow users to see their assigned case & provider count at a glance, and allow supervisors to see the assigned case & provider counts for their workers.

  28. Desktop • Names will display consistently on the desktop using the Last Name, First Name MI., Suffix format (e.g. Doe, John A., Jr.).

  29. Assessment24523 • The correct supervisor name will pre-fill to the Initial Assessment – Primary template.

  30. Assessment23351 • When a new Assessment is being created and a pending Assessment already exists for the case, an informational pop-up will let the worker know that a pending assessment already exists. This will remind the worker that they could link the CPS Report to the existing pending assessment instead of creating a new assessment.

  31. Document Plans9182 • Increasing the number of allowable characters in the Compliance section on the Panel Recommendations tab of the Perm Plan Hearing/Review

  32. Document Plans23399 • As orders are being scanned into eWiSACWIS, remove the Judicial Determination tab from the Permanency Plan

  33. Forms24046 • We are adding Notice of Client Change of County Residence as a template in the system. This template CFS-2406 can be accessed via Create>Casework>Administration>Notice of Client Change of County Residence.

  34. Legal24332 • Increase the font size on the Court Report to 12 point font. • Pre-fill of checkboxes of the birth/adoptive status of mom and of the unknown/deceased

  35. Legal24432 • Add "Juvenile" to drop-down on Legal Documentation page- this will pre-fill into the document if selected. If Child is selected, this will pre-fill into the document. • Add a bookmark next to telephone number to identify what type of phone number (cell, home, etc.)

  36. Legal23922 • Allow workers to document in home services on Court Report as we did in Release 3.0 on the Permanency Plan. This is helpful when documenting Secure Detention and Shelter as In Home Services.

  37. Out of Home Placements24169 • It will be easier to document a child’s out of home placement when they are missing from care. A new missing from care placement will be automatically created when a placement is ended for the reason ‘Missing from Care’.
