UPDATE: Troopers Identify Victims In Fatal Onslow County Accident The Highway Patrol has identified two drivers that were killed Friday afternoon in an Onslow County accident. • Troopers say that 42-year-old Sherry Ellis of Rocky Mount, and 73-year-old Edward Johnson of Franklin, Virginia were killed following an accident on Highway 258, north of Richlands around 2:40 p.m. • Officials say that Ellis crossed the center line in her KIA SUV and collided head on with Johnson who was driving a Ford SUV. 42-year-old Bobbie Jo Bateman of Rock Mount, a passenger in the KIA, was critically injured in the accident and airlifted to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Highway Patrol Trooper R.W. West says that speed was not a factor in the accident. Woman Killed In Onslow County Crash Identified Troopers have now identified a woman who was killed Tuesday morning in a car crash in Onslow County. The Highway Patrol says Jaime Weatherley of Richlands was driving a car when it ran off the road and crashed into a utility pole. The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. on Ben Williams Road outside of Jacksonville.
