  1. Variety of Grapes used for Producing Best White Wine in India Lighter than red wine and packed with different flavors, white wine is measured less collectible than the red wines. Every so often, high in acidity, white wine is at variance from red wine because of the lack of tannins, the vicious part of the grape skin giving red wine its color and distinguishing taste. In general, best white wine in India gossips in terms of its richness. Also, white wine does not age well, with limited prominent exceptions. Though the grapes that yield red wine are purple and/or black in color, the white wine is produced from either light yellow-green colored grapes like Chardonnay or light red-colored grapes such as Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris. In order to preserve the acidity and light fruit flavor along with the crunchy and refreshing taste, white wine should be stored at a low temperature before drinking. Whites can be refrigerated at 55-60 degrees, whereas delicate sweet white wines have to be kept at 50-53 degrees. This is cooler than the refrigerating temperatures used for red wines. Wine lovers love to drink the white wine in a thinner glass than the glass which is used for consuming red wines. A variety of grapes harvested at the Indian Vineyards: Chardonnay – Usually full-bodied, with fruit flavors varying from crisp flinty apple and lemon to classy stone-fruit characteristics of apricot and peach. The whole bunch of chardonnay requires careful attention to skin, stem and pip contact that affects the quantity of tannins which are typically ripped, structured and not harsh and overt. Depending on yeast features, some best white wine in India take on delicate earthy character which supplementary adds to the complexity of this grape type. Riesling – Aromatic and concentrated citrus of lemon and limes are the trademark characteristics of this grape variety. Riesling is generally low in alcohol quantity with the prominence on great fruit kick. Pinot Gris – Pinot Gris has the mass and richness qualities of Chardonnay however it has the additional spice dimension of Gewurztraminer.
