  2. God's Way vs Our Way We live in a universe that is run by a sovereign and moral God Wisdom is the ability to achieve goals in a manner that brings lasting success Folly then, is attempting to achieve lasting success without concern for God. This is the essence of poor judgment

  3. Our Way Ease Control Fun To be important....NOW! To cause pain

  4. Basically I want what I want when I want it I deserve it and I don't want to hurt you but stay out of my way!

  5. How to waste your life from one situation to the next Be vague about the will of God Be thoughtless about how you're living Be foolish and respond to life as you see fit “You will never waste your life decades at a time, you waste it one situation at a time.”

  6. Engage Your Brain Know God's boundaries and perspective on life Gain understanding so I can analyze situations and people accurately Gain discernment so I can pick proper timing and methods

  7. Proverbs 3:5-7 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.

  12. Teachability Are you willing to accept coaching and correction? A learner's heart Admit I have a lot to learn Only legitimate shortcut in life How much do you like pain?

Proverbs 2:1-5 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
