  2. Characteristics • The Characteristics of the Oobleck is a liquid goop witch hardens instantly with pressure. • Cornstarch (powder) and water make a non-Newtonian liquid, meaning it is a solid and a liquid. • It has both properties of being a solid and a liquid.

  3. Poke Test (quick) • When we quickly poked the Oobleck it rebounded out finger and stopped us from penetrating it, this happened because with more pressure/speed it increases in viscosity.

  4. Poke Test (slow) • When we poke our finger went straight in, with little/no resistance. This was because when we applied little amount of pressure viscosity was lower.

  5. Non-Newtonian fluid • Some Non-Newtonian fluids, just like Oobleck are Jell-O, whipped cream, blood, fog and styling gel.

  6. Reaction • When we created Oobleck it was a physical combination, because WE put the two elements together.

  7. Cornstarch? • Cornstarch is starch prepared from the grain of corn.
