Research Experience for Undergraduates in Integration of Biology and Materials May 22, 2014 – July 31, 2014 Penn State University Department of Chemical Engineering Objective: Provide an collaborative, integrated research and professional development program for students in Integration of Biology and Materials as part of a summer experience that will help students develop the skills needed for critical evaluation of biomaterials technologies and a deeper understanding of the research process. Who should apply: Undergraduate students in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Physics or related majors currently enrolled at U.S. institutions. How to apply: Further program information and application instructions are available at: www.che.psu.edu/reu/ Applications are currently being accepted, and will be considered as received. All applications submitted before March 1 will receive full consideration.
