MARKETING UPDATE: • -Raymond James: Alberta Ski Team • Devonian Properties: NGSL • Banff Lodging Company: K1 • CresaPartners: K2 • Miele: FIS Alberta Cup • Sport Chek: Regional Kinder, JJO • Husky: HSS, Castle • * MUST CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO IMPROVE RACE QUALITY OUTSIDE THE FENCES; FOCUS ON VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION. N.Zone Kinder did excellent job

  5. FUNDRAISING: • GMC Raffle, sell what you take; planning for 2011/12 • Just finished successful golf tournament • Edmonton October 27th, Calgary November 1-7th…..Shaw GMC

  6. LEGENDS CLUB: • Excited to have Joanna Magee back as Legends Club coordinator • 5 Legends Club Projects including a ‘girls event’ surrounding the WC…..building on M&H’s presentation about Fast and Female at Spring Meeting. Retention and growth… • Thomas Grandi committed to LC for 2010/11 • - 2 X $250.00 bursaries for kinder aged athletes

  7. COMMUNICATIONS: • Social media will continue to be a priority • Regular website updating • - Encourage clubs to take advantage of our e-blasts and ‘community news’ section of the website • Photo contest; send photos to memberservices@albertaalpine.ca • - 2010/11 Daytimers: late October

  8. CLOSING REMARKS: • Importance of being financially prudent throughout uncertain times: casino and AB govt support • Clubs need to keep chatting. There are efficiencies to be realized by working together. • Looking forward to working with you all. In the coming weeks I intend on getting out to both S and N Zone Chair meetings.
