  1. At IGAC, we value our clients and appraise their jewelry! Our industry leading standards and adherence to a principal of honest and thorough examination of each valued possession of our clients, from loose gemstones and diamonds to mounted and designer jewelry, makes our services trustworthy and your experience pleasant and cherished! Our in-house Gemologist has an experience of more than 7 years in the field of gemology and has a detail-oriented approach to each gemstone or jewelry to be examined.

  2. Gemstone Identification We have an experience of more than 8 years, in all these years we have collected a research data base that has the vast knowledge of inclusions patterns and all the different information in relation to the various gemstones and that makes our expertise precise and accurate to the best extent . We also have a vast database of color samples in various gemstones and hence we are able to grade color and clarity for a variety of gemstones to accuracy, we use scientific and gemological tests to come to conclusions, that are on par with the current gemological standards.

  3. Gemstone Appraisal Every gemstone is unique and has a beauty of its own and unlike gold and diamonds, no two gemstones are the same. The rarity and other features are the foremost determining factors in assertion of the value We follow a thorough process to ensure the best value being appraised for your precious gemstones. Every step ensures that we have taken all the factors, such as cut, clarity, color, and carat weight of the gem in account before reaching to any conclusion. Our appraisal provides you with an Insurance Replacement Value, which is helpful with insurance, and most importantly a peace of mind for you with a safe knowledge of true value of your Gem!

  4. Diamond Grading Service Our Grading Report includes an assessment of a diamond’s 4Cs – color, clarity, cut, and carat weight – along with a plotted diagram of its clarity characteristics and a graphic representation of the diamond’s proportions. For standard round brilliant cut diamonds falling in the D-to-Z color range, our laboratory issues diamond grading reports for loose, natural diamonds in the D-to-Z color range that weigh 0.15 carats or more. Our Reports are not issued for laboratory-grown diamonds, diamond simulants, mounted diamonds or those that have undergone unstable treatments, such as fracture filling or coating. And while reports may be issued for diamonds that have been laser drilled or HPHT processed, reports will indicate that the diamond has been treated.

  5. Jewelry Appraisal Service A jewelry appraisal (also known as a jewelry valuation) is a document you may receive from us that describes the item of jewelry being valued and then gives a value that the item should be insured for. The appraisal will describe the jewelry item stating an estimated diamond weight, an approximate color and clarity of the diamond (which is usually given as a range, for example H-J color, SI1/SI2 clarity etc.), the weight and type of metal the jewelry is made from and any other gemstones details.
