  2. What are the overall trends in Ridge’s elementary enrollments by grade level and by district? • In Kindergarten, there years ago there was a decline in enrollment from 532 to 507 students. However, over the next three years their has been a steady increase. • In grades first and fifth, there has been an increase in student growth. • However, in grades two, three, and four there has been a steady decrease in enrollment. • Overall, the student enrollment at the elementary level has dropped over the last four years.

  4. What are the Trends in the District Births? • There has been a steady increase of births over the last 10 years. • The births peaked 6 years ago, with 1,650. • Over the past 10 years their has been an average of 22.2 births per year.

  6. Birth to Kindergarten Ratio • For every 3 birth that occurs in the area an average of 1 child will attend the school in the district. • The district will need to also look at how many students on average also transfer into and out of the district.

  8. Survival Rates • There is a steady decrease in students in Kindergarten going from 4 years to 1 year ago. • Each cohort has a decline in enrollment as the students advance in grades.
