  2. 智慧計算與資料探勘實驗室 • Intelligent Computation and Data Mining Laboratory (ICDM Lab.) • 本實驗室以發展先進智慧型計算技術與實務應用為主要的發展方向，著重於資料探勘技術來發展智慧型系統，以及師生間和諧的互動關係。

  3. 研究方向Research Issues • 計算智慧 : • 人工智慧 • 限制規劃 (constraint programming) • 智慧型演算法 • 模糊邏輯(Fuzzy Logic)、 • 類神經網路(Neural Network)、 • 基因演算法(Genetic Algorithm; GA)、 • 粒子群演算法(Particle Swarm Optimization; PSO) • 資料探勘 • 資料庫系統、資料倉儲、資料探勘演算法 • 顧客關係管理、決策樹、分類規則(應用GA/PSO) • 影像處理 • 物體偵測及追蹤 (應用PSO演算法)
