MOVING FROM OUTPUT LEVEL REPORTING • TO OUTCOME / IMPACT LEVEL REPORTING • JMB decision on PEI next phase: increased focus! • Strengthen CT, RT and PEF capacity to: • efficiently and effectively collect information on progress, achievements and impact • draw out lessons learned and best practice • use the information and lessons learned to: • 1) strengthen planning and • 2) communicate results - impact • draw on results based information to support more effective management of the PEI programmes & mobilize new donor resources

THREE LEVEL PLANNING, BUDGETING & REPORTING PLANNING: Global Retreat, Regional Meetings, Annual Workplanning by CT, RT, PEF BUDGETING: Annual Budget establishment, Roll over budget, End of year budget (CT, RT, PEF) REPORTING: UNDP Quarterly and Annual reporting cycle (CT, RT, PEF), PEI Narrative and Financial Progress report. JOINT MANAGEMENT BOARD: approval of workplans, budgets and progress reports DONOR STEERING GROUP: review of progress and financial reports KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT: knowledge management platforms, sharing information from all countries, regions, global results.
