REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES AUTOMATED ELECTIONS BEI AUTHENTICATION Please insert security key for authentication LCD SW ver 103,15 The Chairman shall place the iButton security key on top of the security key receptacle. PCOS will beep to indicate that it is ready to accept instructions from the BEI

  7. IS THIS THE CORRECT TIME? 2013:02:19 10:00:00 YES NO Select “YES” if the date and time is correct, and enter such fact in the minutes.

  8. Select “NO” if the date and time is incorrect. Then screen will ask the BEI to set the correct date and time, and ask for the correct: A. YEAR. If year is correct, press “DONE”. If not, +++ / ---- button until the year displayed the current year. B. MONTH. If month is correct, press “DONE”. If not, +++ / ---- button until the month displayed the current month. C. DAY. If day is correct, press “DONE”. If not, +++ / ---- button until the day displayed the current day. SET YEAR 2013:02:19 10:00:00 +++ DONE ---

  9. Select “NO” if the date and time is incorrect. Then screen will ask the BEI to set the correct date and time, and ask for the correct: D. HOUR. If hour is correct, press “DONE”. If not, +++ / ---- button until the hour displayed the current hour E. MINUTE. If minute is correct, press “DONE”. If not, +++ / ---- button until the minute displayed the current minute.   19. PCOS will print 8 copies of Election Returns for the Local positions

  20. If after 3 attempts, the transmission medium still fails, call the Technical support personnel.

  21. After successful transmission to C/MBOC, Central and Transparency Servers, PCOS will display this message.

  22. 22 Copies READY TO PRINT 22 COPIES OF ELECTION RETURNS. PLEASE REPLACE THERMAL PRINTER PAPER ROLL. PRESS OK WHEN READY Replace thermal paper roll And press OK button.

  29. RE-TRANSMIT RESULTS 1 WOULD YOU LIKE TO PRINT MORE COPIES OF THIS REPORT? If failure of transmission occurs in any of the target servers, the PCOS will print Transmission Report A prompt for more copies will appear. Press NO option.

  30. 2 Wait until transmission is Successful. If after three (3) Attempts, the transmission Medium still fails, call the Technical support personnel. Repeat re-transmission if There are more than one (1) Target servers failed.
