More Facts About Shoshone • The Shoshone Indians were a small Native American tribe, there was about 8,000 members in each group, they all live on the land both east and west of the Rocky Mountains and can be classified as Great Basin American Indians. They were called the “Snake Indians “. The Shoshone Indians still live around here today!
